For this project I worked closely with the musician to create a more engaging digital product. Record sleeves traditionally serve as protection, but also as a marketing tool and an expression of artistic intent. With the increasing popularity of digital music and the inflating cost of conducting business, the purpose and prevalence of the album cover is evolving. We wanted to retain a sense of the album cover being a desirable artifact in its own right.
